Sam Ingram is currently the Director of publicly traded companies serving on Audit, Health, Safety, Environment, Reserve and Corporate Governance Committees. He previously served as a Director of private domestic and foreign companies, partnerships and joint ventures operating in foreign environments in Southeast Asia, Latin America and Europe.
Sam supervised the creation of Canadian corporate aircraft operations with private and commercial operating authorities. He currently sits as an independent director of a mid-sized Canadian aircraft operating company.
Sam has negotiated significant international and domestic contract arrangements and major agreements including acquisitions, financing, creation of public spin-off entities and formation of joint ventures creating an asset base in excess of $2.0 billion. He was the senior member of the management team overseeing operations, acquisitions and corporate matters with responsibility for all legal matters of publicly listed integrated International Energy and Resource company with oil and gas, thermal coal, nickel and cobalt and electricity divisions.
He was also responsible for Corporate Secretarial function, regulatory filings and annual disclosure documents; close liaison with Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Chairmen of various board committees to develop, implement and carry out Corporate Governance, Environmental Health and Safety, Audit, Reserve, Compensation and Pension functions and obligations.
Sam served as Chairman of the Management Disclosure Committee ensuring that press releases and shareholder communications, such as Annual Information Forms, Management’s Discussion and Analysis and Financial Statements, contained appropriate, full, plain and true disclosure.
